Crank up the heat on the grill instead of in your kitchen with these delectable and easy crowd-pleasers! Your guests will absolutely love what you’re serving up.

Fired-Up Fruit

Grill fruit to give it a fresh twist! Just cut delicious watermelon into chunky wedges and sprinkle them with sugar to caramelize in the heat. Jazz up the sweet rub with some zesty lime or red pepper flakes. Add pizzazz to a summertime salad by slicing and pitting peaches or apricots, tossing them in olive oil and grilling them up. They balance out fresh, earthy greens and other veggies in surprising ways.

Fresh Dough Alfresco

There’s a beauty to rolling out your own pizza pies! Tossing your dough on the grill is an easy way to get that primo pizzeria taste in your own backyard. Contrary to what you might think, the raw dough does not slip through the grates and the flame action lends a deliciously crispy texture that you won’t get with your standard oven. Whether you make the dough from scratch or head to your favorite Italian restaurant to purchase a ball or two, you can make your pizzas just the way you like them.

Cobs on the Barbie

Grilling corn takes it to a whole new level! The key to grilling this golden, crispy side dish is to do so as close to the purchase date as possible. You’ll want the freshest ears available – and then the rest is easy. Just trim the tassels, remove the stalk end and peel back a little of the husk to let the heat in. It will steam in its natural wrapper and won’t dry out. Total cook time on the grate should be about 15 to 20 minutes, turning every five minutes or so. Allow another five minutes to cool before you slide the husk right off. Butter it, season it (or keep it perfectly plain and simple) and enjoy!

Sweet Campfire Favorite

What says outdoor fun better than s’mores? The good news: You don’t need a roaring flame to indulge in this treat (although a fire pit does sound like fun, doesn’t it?). The better news: We have an even easier, less messy, delicious way to serve it up.
