Discover “Pacific Harmony” by attending the 22nd annual Honolulu Festival on Oahu. The festival will showcase the beauty of Hawaii’s Asian and Pacific cultures while providing its guests a variety of activities to partake in and dishes to indulge in. The weekend long event will run from Friday, March 11 through Sunday, March 13.

Friendship Gala | Friday, March 11 from 7:00pm – 8:30pm

The Friendship Gala is a great way to kick-off the festival’s theme of “Pacific Harmony.” This is only event at the festival to charge a cover price, and we’re positive it’s absolutely worth it! It promotes friendship and international goodwill through traditional song and dance performances along with a wide array of regional cuisine. If you’re looking for the ultimate way to learn and engage with Hawaiian culture, then attending the Friendship Gala should definitely be on your to-do-list.

Tickets: $90 (Adults Ages 21 & Over)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              $70 (Youth Ages 6 – 21)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Free (Children under 6)

Craft Fair | Saturday, March 12 from 10:00am – 6:00pm and Sunday, March 13 from 10:00am – 3:00pm

Over 100 booths will be present at this year’s craft fair. Exhibitors from Japan, Hawaii and other Pacific countries will be there showing off their traditional crafts and helping you create them as well. Take a sample of each culture home with you by dropping in at one of the many booths and adding your own twist to the traditional crafts of the Pacific!

 

Stage Performances | Saturday, March 12 from 10:00am – 6:00pm and Sunday, March 13 from 10:00am to 2:00pm

Obama Supporters Host The Aloha Inaugural Ball

Watch some of the best performers of the Pacific showcase their talents in these spectacular presentations. Performances will be held at three stage locations including the Hawaii Convention Center, Ala Moana Shopping Center and Waikiki Beach Walk.

 

Educational School Tours | Friday, March 11 from 9:00am – 1:00pm

A big priority for the Honolulu Festival is to educate local school children on their precious home. Every year, the festival provides behind-the-scenes school tours and gives students a chance to get a first look at the many exhibits. Kids can also interact with artisans and performers – can you think of a better school day?!

 

Grand Parade | Sunday, March 13 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm

The perfect way to end this magnificent celebration is by attending the festival’s Grand Parade. The monumental parade will feature cultural performances, floats, and celebrity appearances. Expect a large crowd, so our best advice for you is to get there early, situate yourself for a good view, and be prepared for a visual feast of wonderfulness!
