What do you get when you combine internationally acclaimed art exhibits, delectable food and cocktails with lively entertainment in the courtyards and a DJ spinning music on a Friday night? Honolulu Museum of Art’s ARTafterDARK.

ARTafterDARK is held on the last Friday of the month from January through October from 6 to 9 p.m. on the grounds of the Honolulu Museum of Art. Admission is free for Museum members and $10 for non-members. With a different theme each month, it is beneficial to purchase a membership to the museum. A basic membership is $25 and it covers entry to the Honolulu Museum of Art as well as Spalding House in Makiki Heights. In addition, a different theme each month means there is never a dull moment perusing the exhibits and three courtyards.

Because Honolulu Museum of Art is located just outside of downtown Honolulu, ARTafterDARK attracts many of the city’s young professionals who are eager to mix culture, food and live entertainment as it provides a fun place to hang out with friends and co-workers on a Friday night after a full work week.

So if you’re looking for a fun and adventurous night out on the town, be sure to check out ARTafterDark.  For more information on ARTafterDARK, please visit honolulumuseum.org. If you’ve attended before, let us know how the experience was – send us a Tweet @CBPacific.
