Tails are wagging in anticipation of one of the largest pet adoption events of the year – the first ever Homes for Dogs National Pet Adoption Weekend, August 1-2, presented by Coldwell Banker and Adopt-a-Pet.com.

This nationwide event is part of the Coldwell Banker “Homes for Dogs Project,” a national campaign hosted in conjunction with Adopt-a-Pet.com, which aims to find homes for 20,000 adoptable dogs in 2015. Coldwell Banker launched the “Homes for Dogs Project” earlier this year with the brand’s national television commercial, Home’s Best Friend, which aired during the 87th Academy Awards. To date, 11,000 dogs have already found their forever homes!
