While we are hotly anticipating the debut of the new #YourHome commercial debuting during this year’s Oscars, we are also eager for the special recognition and celebration that is being planned for the 75th anniversary of one of the greatest movies of all time: The Wizard of Oz. As you may be aware, yesterday we announced the #YourHome Awards honoring the best homecoming scenes in movie history.
In our books there may be no better, or deserving, movie than The Wizard of Oz. Regretfully, that decision isn’t up to us, but to those who vote here.
While we know you are considering all the nominees carefully, feel free to take a look at Coldwell Banker’s Blue Matter blog where you will find a detailed synopsis on The Wizard of Oz, and why no movie will ever be able to make the claim to fame with the caption, “there’s no place like home” quite like Dorothy and friends.
Remember, voting will be available until 12 a.m. EST on 2/25, and don’t forget to catch the Oscars on Sunday, March 2, where we will be debuting our second TV ad for 2014.
