Coldwell Banker is very excited to be a sponsor for this year’s AREAA (Asian Real Estate Association of America) Global and Luxury Summit, which will be held April 3 to 5 at Waikiki’s Royal Hawaiian and Sheraton Waikiki Hotels. The summit gives those interested in the luxury real estate market an opportunity to hear from some of the most influential industry experts on topics such as international investment, emerging markets, working with international clients, and executing cross-border transactions.
“The Coldwell Banker brand is a proud sponsor of AREAA and we are thrilled that Coldwell Banker’s Vice President of Luxury Craig Hogan is chairing the event along with the numerous attendees and speakers representing us,” said David Siroty, vice president of North American Communications for Coldwell Banker Real Estate. “With the leadership stance Coldwell Banker Previews International® has in the luxury arena with more than 25,000 $1 million-plus transactions in 2015, it is critical that we have a role in leading the industry and interacting with top agents around the world.”
Luxury real estate in the U.S. is experiencing great changes, especially with the growing number of international investors and buyers from Asia. Every year the volume of cross-border transactions grows in all sectors of real estate, and luxury properties have especially been affected by this expansion. Luxury homes are in high demand and thus have been increasing in price, with the majority being in the $1 million to $2 million range.
“The U.S. real estate market has become more and more attractive to international buyers, with Asian buyers emerging as top buyers of luxury properties, especially here in Hawaii,” said Mike James, president of Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties. “With Hawaii situated between Asian and U.S. mainland markets, our islands provide the perfect location for AREAA’s Global and Luxury Summit.”
In addition to focusing on international transactions, AREAA will also touch upon on the importance of maximizing listings locally. A broad array of speakers will share tips on how to successfully sell properties in Hawaii, including Coldwell Banker Previews International® Sales Associates Tracy Allen of the Honolulu office and Anne Oliver of the Kahala office.
These award-winning sales associates will speak on what has helped them rise to the top, the challenges and successes they have encountered and will also provide advice on how to make your luxury property stand out from the rest.
And while this may be a professional event, don’t expect it all to be about business. Attendees like to let loose and enjoy themselves too by taking in the breathtaking ocean-front views, dining at the hotels’ world-class restaurants and having a blast at the traditional Hawaii Iuau that is sponsored by Coldwell Banker.
The summit is considered one of the best conferences of its kind and is expected to attract hundreds from all around the world.
Tickets are $449 for members, $649 for non-members, and $449 for international attendees.
We hope you’ll join us on this fun learning experience!
